COLORS:  These are all laminates of natural and dyed birch wood. The colors will not necessarily appear like this in every piece... It depends on where the center is, how deeply I cut the coves and beads, and whether the plywood manufacturer was working with sapwood near the bark or near the heart of the tree. Dyes do not take uniformly and sometimes the whites appear more like tan, the yellows don't "pop" with brightness, etc.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns are possible, with advanced clearance, if the item is in "new" condition. Just email me. (But you will probably be well pleased...)

In order to speed delivery, please indicate alternate colors, in case your first choice is unavailable.

General Information -

Colorful, laminated birch is my wood of choice since it is neither a tropical rainforest wood nor is it endangered. The layers are glued together with epoxy, under great pressure, thus producing an extremely stable, durable wood that resists wear.  Both the bright and the more natural-looking colors are dyed into the white birch, with occasional layers of un-dyed wood.  Only the colors of my burl woods are found in the trees that produced them.

The styling of each piece is created freehand, on-the-spot, using no templates or guides.  Therefore, when placing a Custom Order, you will not receive a shape exactly (or maybe even remotely) like the ones pictured in this website.  (You may select from a limited number of as-you-see-them items on my BUY-HERE-NOW page.) If you have a specific request, please make it known in the comments section of my order form.
