My first hook design was a snuggly "Dipped Egg" (for rug-hooking) which (alas) used all my remaining 2" thick DymondWood. Now I create a slender "Hybrid" Crochet Hook, with natural hardwoods bracketing a colorful nugget of DW. Its 5mm, aluminum hook (letter H) is permanent and used for baby blankets and caps... A tiny, strong magnet is fixed on top! Pair it with a scissor pendant and you're good to go!
